Purpose of Graphics on the Site
In this site the designer uses graphics in all three of the main ways as described in our textbook.
Graphics add visual/aesthetic appeal to the information on the web page, helping to maintain viewer interest and attention
Help to create visual structure for information and links on the page
Communicate or explain ideas visually

Today we looked at 5 graphic file types and I showed the students a list of five images. They had to identify which file extension to use for which file type
